I currently work at Winona Capital, a private equity firm in Chicago that makes growth investments in consumer-focused companies. My VC/PE career also includes working at a venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley (Opus Capital) and at a private equity firm in Chicago (Crossroads Capital). My education includes a BSBA in Statistics and Operations Management, an MAS in Technology Management (both from the University of Denver), and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Prior to my MBA, I spent five years in various roles at high-tech start-ups in Denver, Colorado, specializing in enterprise software and technology. I was the founder of a company that developed supply chain software and an early employee at a technology incubator and consulting company. We received several industry accolades such as being named to Deloitte’s “Technology Fast 50” and Inc. Magazine’s “Inc. 500”. Prior to my experiences at these entrepreneurial ventures, I spent about six years at Andersen Consulting (now called Accenture), where I was a software engineer and project manager on various projects for Fortune 500 companies.
